The Fried Chicken. Best I've ever had.

I still fondly remember an oxtail polenta.

the brussel sprouts with soy sauce, etc

Cucumber and chick pea salad, please! Salads in general - two, three salad staples as a fresh intermission between the bacon and bone marrow I think could really give this epic menu a nice fresh splash. And the world of possibilities! I bet Ilan Hall's vinaigrette and raw veg concoctions would rule!

Another dish that I really loved but was only on the menu for a short time was a chickpea, edamame pea dish with cheese on top I think.

Also the octopus was great. As were the chillie fries... yumm-ay.

We are coming in friday night (July 15, 2011), braving Carmeggedon, to meet up with Israel travel companions visiting from Minneapolis. Please bring back the fried chicken, corn and fried greens! We are dying to share it with our out of towners!!

Pork belly dish heaven (melt-in-your mouth fatty goodness and candy crust skin) PULEASE! Also, I never got to try the chicken skin sandwich! :(

I can't remember what greenery was used but it was deep fried with balsamic vinegar, I dream about it...please bring it back!

I really miss the burger and fries!!! I know it's not the best thing on the menu but it was my favorite. The first day I moved into the Alexandria I ordered a burger, fried and coke off the lunch menu. Bring it back please :-)
